As you may know, or not:o) there was a pope in Brno on sunday 27th sept. He celebrated a mass for some 120 000 people at Brno airport. That was the only place, where so many people could be gathered together for a big mass, without any big difficulties.:o)
Well, I took part in it too:o) Of course!:o) You know, pope will never more come any closer to my place than to my home town, I do not supppose him to accept my invitation for a tea or whatever in my house:o)... So I got up at 4.30 and aimed for a mass at the suburbs. Pope was supposed to come at 9.20, so you can imagine how early did I go there and still I was only in about fourth row in my pretty well situated sector...:o) To explain it a bit, I am not really a kind of fanatic that I would have to be there so early but at the ticket I was ordered to be there before 6a.m. It was an order from oranizers, and I think it was quite wise to write on tickets for different sectors what time to be at a place, otherwise I would not like to se the mess of 120 000 people comming at the same time... I can not really imagine, how much could see people who came much later after me ( except of VIPs of course:o)). I still saw a pope only from quite a distatnt, although my place was quite well situated...
But the thing, which was really worthy about it was atmosphere, and I can tell you I dislike crowds;o) But honestly the atmosphere there was something;o) And btw, Benedict appears to be quite gifted for languages as he could say several pretty nice and very well understandable sentences in Czech:o)

I did it :oD
I passed my state exam:o) So my studies are finished:o( But I managed to pass the big exam I was so afraid of:o)
I was so so so nervous. But one good thing about it was that as I was so nervout the evening before I slept peacefully all the night. You know being terribly nervous makes you tired (or at least me it does;o))
I was scheduled at 13.30 and was supposed to come 2 hours before, that means at 11.30. So I came at demanded time and thought I had a lot of time left. So I ment to prepare my defense of my theses, which is compulsory part of state exam. But first of all I wanted to get rid of a little stone in my shoe :o-
I pul off my shoe, when the door opend and a lady said: "the next one to the exam, miss Matejova..." ... "the next one!" You can imagine, I was sitting in the hall, my shoe off, supposing to have 2 hours left...
It was fine in the end. I did not have time to become any more nervous and most of all I was pretty lucky and draw out questions to which I knew the answeres:oD Perfect;o)
