I am not a big lover of sports but I do love hiking. This year I had occasin to go to Low Tatras for 3 days of hiking.
First we took chair lift and than continued from it to the right and than down and back to the place, where we were acomodated. First part of a hiking was fine but than to get dowt to the valey... Oh my god! that was something. I even had painful arm muscles next day, which is not so usual while hiking, you can imagine. But that way down was so terrible that we used our arms to hold any tree or rock to make our degression more safe:o) But we maged and in the evening came exhosted but satisfied to our hostel.
The next day we climbed the highest peak "Dumbier". That was much better way, full of blueberries;o)
And the third day we chose even more comfortable way and much shorter, through memorial cemetry of those who died in Low Tatras. (people are not really burried there, they just have there a boerd with their name and date of dead, possibly exact place of death and cause of death...). Quite sad, but it is good to remind how dangerous mountain can be. People should not underestimate... And than we still had time so we went to see a mountain lake and an ice cave, which was amazing, and cold;o)
